Know Thy World

There are a couple of key elements when it comes to belief:

  1. Faith is nothing more than a choice of what to rely on. Everyone has faith in something. Everyone leans on something to get through life (whether it's a higher power, your own skills, money, luck, etc.)
  2. So we must study our options and see which one is the most reliable and capable. Upon close inspection, one should find that God is the most powerful, consistent and trustworthy option, and that the Bible is His Message to us.
  3. What you choose to rely on should be supported by evidence. So is there evidence that points to a Creator God and that He authored the Bible? Why yes there is. The study of these evidences is called 'apologetics' (a Latin legal term referring to defending a position with evidence). When we study the universe and we explore the Bible, we find that there is a multitude of support that God is Creator and Author.

Science Apologetics

There is not the space here to list out all the evidences for a Creator God. We can say this: whether it be the beginning of things, the scope of the universe, the magic of life or the end of all things, there is far more evidence that points towards an intentional creation rather than random chance. The fingerprints of God are all over our universe. If you want to study this more, take our 2-hour workshop or purchase the handbook to learn all the details. [Romans 1:19-20]

Bible Apologetics

We could create a whole website that would discuss just the evidence that God authored the Bible, not man. But for now, just know that the Bible is the most well-documented, accurate and consistent book in ancient writing, and there is a ton of evidence to support that truth. When taking the Bible as a whole, in the context of its surroundings, it is easy to conclude that 44+ men writing over 1600 years, in 3 different languages, 8+ different countries and with a wide variety of backgrounds, themes and goals, could not have put that Book together. They needed outside, supernatural help. And that's exactly what happened; the fingerprints of God are all over the Bible. To learn about the details of all this, check out our 2-hour workshop or purchase the handbook. [1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:19-21]
