Rekindling’s Aim

Our goal is to, as the Apostle Paul would say, “stir up, rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, keep burning, the gracious gift of God, the inner fire that is in you.” (2 Timothy 1:6 AMP)  Or as J.R.R. Tolkien would say, “Herewith maybe, thou shalt rekindle hearts to the valor of old in a world that grows chill.” (The Silmarillion, 1977)  Or as Antoine de Saint-Exupery would say, “If you want to build a boat, do not go out and simply collect a bunch of people and assign them tasks; rather, first teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”  For we passionately believe that the more in awe  we are for God and His plans for the world, the better we can serve and edify this world and the people in it.
